Cali: Dark elf assassin (18) likes tight clothes or going naked. Had been sold into sex slavery when caught setting up a noble to be killed. Sixth wife. From house Tlyysengarten, was were given to house Uunregarten as a plot to assassinate the house leader. From the Netherlands.

Deidre - Dark elf, about 100 years old, has become Sean's mistress. She's also his accountant and bookkeeper. Also likes tight clothes or going near naked.
Sheila - Fox sex toy bought from a specialty kennel in England by Peg's father. Secretly she's also a well-trained spy with associated talents (Sam paid extra for that). Peg's lover, also has become Sean's mistress.

Gregory Sampson: Worked for Sean's dad. Swore to protect his son and wife. Died, book one doing that.
Uncle Philo: Magic user, younger then Louise, Sean's mother - Irish.
Markey: Philo's friend, he's a pooka
Maitland: Louise's uncle. The brother of her mother, who was a 'lake Faerie' that her father seduced, lived with up until the day he died (that is NOT typical, says a lot about her father). He's a stiff military type. A bit old school. Markey is a little at odds with him.
Ruthelma, aka Ruth: Maitland's daughter. She's not really cruel, just can be uncaring without realizing it. She's a terribly vicious warrior, her father's equal in combat. She does seems to enjoy it a bit too much at times however.

2. Council of Ascendance - Magic users rule, all others drool. They are about how much better they are then everyone else. Law unto themselves. #4 nationally, #2 in Nevada. 3. Council of Gradatim - (Council of Progressives - opposed to Static) Normally they're #5 worldwide, but they're #2 in California and #3 in Reno. Roger McConnell (Roger killed Book 3 - Richard Sorother now in charge, Camellia is now his wife)

4. Council of Sapientia (Wisdom) - oldest of all councils, #2 worldwide. They do what they do. Lots of rules for behavior, and interacting with society. They're the ones that adopted the 'don't tell the mudanes about us, and a lot of other paranoid or old rules/laws. Arthur Troy
